Hello and welcome to the Spirit Guides.co.uk network radio show with your host Mark Chatterton. Tonight we are pleased to welcome onto the show, Andy Thomas, who is a leading light in what is known as the Truth Movement. He is an author and mysteries researcher, who has written several books, including his highly acclaimed "The Truth Agenda". He regularly lectures in both the UK and overseas and has appeared on several TV programmes in the UK, as well as being one of the presenters of The Glastonbury Symposium, one of the longest running alternative conferences. So a warm welcome to you Andy.
I'd like to start by talking about Crop Circles, as you've written quite extensively about them, including the book, "An Introduction to Crop Circles". Now crop circles are one of many unexplained phenomena in existence today. Is that where it all started for you, or were you into the world of the unexplained before this?
Now Crop Circles have been regularly appearing every year since the 1980's, mainly in Wiltshire, but also at other places around the globe. Would you say that your viewpoint has changed over the years, or is it still the same.
In 2009, you brought out the book, "The Truth Agenda", which has the sub-title "Making sense of Unexplained Mysteries, Global Cover-Ups and 2012 prophecies". Before we go into detail about some parts of the book, could you tell us what led you to writing a book of this magnitude?
One of the mysteries that you discuss in "The Truth Agenda" is that of UFO's. It's now over ten years since Dr Stephen Greer in America held his news conference, where various people who had worked in the Military gave testimony to all that they had seen concerning the reality of UFO's. The idea of this press conference was to bring about "disclosure", ie admittance by the authorities to the general public that aliens did exist and contact had been made with them. With the exception of several Hollywood films on this subject, it looks like things will never change here?
Your book goes on to look at several well known "Conspiracy theories" inc
luding the Moon Landings and 9/11. For some reason you haven't included the Death of Princess Diana in your book. Was there any particular reason?
There seems to be a growing interest amongst people in the world of "Conspiracy theories". Can you give us any examples of conspiracy theories that the so-called experts have debunked in the past, yet they have indeed turned out to be true.
One of the main themes of your book, is the gradual erosion of civil liberties and freedoms, especially as a result of 9/11 and 7/7. The man on the street might find it hard to accept, but you would argue that it is part of a plan or conspiracy by an elite few to take over the world?
In your book, "The Truth Agenda" you go into detail about 2012 and the various prophecies concerning it. What's your view on what might happen on 21st December this year, or indeed before that?
Last year you brought out an updated version of your book. Can you tell us why and what new things you added
Your partner, Helen is an astrologer and has made up charts for various events in 2012. Am I right in saying that the horoscope for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration weekend is not that good?
You do have a final chapter in your book where you look at some positive outcomes from around the world where "People Power" has won through. What would you say to those listening that might be concerned about the future? What should we as individuals be doing?
